The Group is undergoing a corporate restructuring, captained by its present Managing Director Mr. Naseeb Yahya Nasib. The Group is focusing on development of Tourism Resorts, diversification into Hospitality Industry, Telecommunication and Information Technology projects and exploring avenues on global marketing of products and services while vigorously persuing its core activities of Defense products and services as well as strengthening the extension of industrial, commercial and retail services to Ministries, Establishments and public.

Mr. Yahya Mohammed Nasib, the founder of the Group, is a well-known and respected international businessman.

Born in Muscat in 1941, he graduated with honours in Economics from Karachi University and pursued further study on European history at Beirut University.

Mr. Yahya Nasib was honoured personally by His Majesty the Sultan of Oman by awarding and decorating him with Civil Order of Oman for his services to Sultanate of Oman. Mr. Nasib is appointed as Member of the Board of Governors of Central Bank of Oman by His Majesty in 1975 and continues to serve to this day.

He is also the President of Oman British Friendship Association established under Ministerial decree under instruction of His Majesty. Mr. Nasib has earned his name in "Who is who" in Arab World and of World Publications.

In addition to forming Yahya Enterprises, he has established a joint venture Yahya Costain L.L.C. and holds its majority shareholding.

Naseeb Yahya Nasib
Born in Muscat in 1970, Mr. Naseeb Yahya Nasib had his schooling at the prestigious Sultan's School in Oman. He pursued his further studies in the United States graduating in Finance and subsequently his Masters in Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He furthered his study and earned his Masters in Business Administration in Hospitality and Tourism from the Program jointly conducted by Cornell and ESSEC in Paris.

On completion of his first Masters in 1997, Mr. Naseeb served Merrill Lynch in their International Private Equity Division as Financial Relationship Manager in New York city. While pursuing his second Masters, he was simultaneously overseeing family business including the chain of Hotels in France and Canada.  

Naseeb Yahya Nasib

Mr. Naseeb has assumed the position of CEO and Managing Director of Yahya Enterprises Group in 2000. He holds Board Memberships of family owned group of hotels abroad and other incorporated commercial firms and Alliance Housing Bank in Oman.

Besides his corporate responsibilities Mr. Naseeb takes an active role as a member of the various committees of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is a member of the Banking, Insurance and Tourism committees. He is a strong sports enthusiast with keen interests in Golf, Tennis, bridge, Football. 
Mr. Naseeb is a also an avid technology advocate and user, a "Techie".   

Gopalakrishnan P.S.

Mr. Gopalakrishnan is the Senior Corporate executive with the Group for more than a decade holding the position of Group Financial Controller. He takes an active part in corporate policy formulation, strategy and planning in addition to his functional role.

Mr. Gopalakrishnan is a multidiscipline professional in the fields of Accounts, Administration, Information Systems, Finance and Management. He is a Double Graduate in Commerce and Business Administration with a Postgraduate Diploma with specialization in Financial Management.

He also earned and holds professional membership of various professional bodies, namely, Chartered Manager, Chartered Management Institute UK, Fellow Member of Institute of Financial Accountants UK; Fellow of the Faculty of Business Administration of Corporation of Executives and Administrators, UK;  Associate member of Cost and Executive Accountants UK; Associate member of Association of Financial Controllers, UK and full member of the Institute of Management Information Systems, UK.

Mr. Gopalakrishnan prior to joining the Group had served in Banks, leading business groups, autonomous bodies, private companies and government for more than two decades in Kuwait, Qatar and India.  

Natasha Yahya Nasib

Ms Natasha Nasib, elder daughter of Mr. Yahya Mohammed Nasib and younger sister of Naseeb Yahya Nasib had her early schooling at Sultan School Oman and had completed her University education in Switzerland majoring in business.  
She, on her return, after gaining experience through the different positions within the group, had taken over the management of Snowhite and steered its remarkable growth in the last five years. Her style of management while result oriented and assertive revolves around the genuine concerns and sympathy she shows towards her employees.

Ms Natasha is the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Snowhite L.L.C. and now concentrates on long term policy issues, focusing on customer relationship and employee welfare and matters related to Omanisation.

Ms Nashia Nasib, the youngest daughter of Mr. Yahya Mohammed Nasib had her schooling at Sultan School Oman and graduated with a major in International Business in Switzerland.

Ms Nashia is known for her creativity and business ideas. She has taken over as the Advertising and Marketing Director with the additional responsibility for the management of Nasib Plaza .She takes an active role in corporate management decision making particularly with her ideas in marketing.

Academically oriented Ms Nashia is pursuing her Masters in Psychology and Rehabilitation in United States while simultaneously playing her role effectively from abroad.

Defence/Civil Consultancy
Through our main principal in defence - Alenia Marconi Systems - we supplied the complete air defence radar system and the air defence troposcatter communications network for the Sultan's Armed Forces in the 1970's and 1980's. Recently we supplied to Royal Airforce of Oman a complete update and replacement to this system. Many other contracts including ammunitions have been won with MOD over the years. In addition to routine purchase orders from the Ministry of Defence, which we continue to win, we remain the representatives for extant maintenance contracts for the radar systems and other defence equipment that our principals have installed in the Oman.

Snowhite L.L.C.
Snowhite L.L.C. is the first among the established dry-cleaning and laundry companies, fully owned by the Yahya Group. It was established in 1974.

Snowhite is the market leader in dry-cleaning in Oman. Snowhite consists of 38 retail outlets in the northern parts of the country. It has just built a factory in Salalah and has started to serve the southern region. The company also executes large contracts for the Ministry of Defence, the Royal Flight, Military and Civil hospitals, Airlines and First Class hotels.

Snowhite's Bowsher Factory opened in 1993 is equipped with the state of the Art Computerised laundry and dry-cleaning equipment from the USA, Italy and UK.

The factory has a production capacity of over 2000 kgs per hour, the highest available anywhere in Oman. It is segmented into commercial, institutional and hospital laundry areas to meet the different processing requirements. Besides its main factory at Bowsher, Snowhite also operates satellite production units at Sohar, Nizwa, Sur and MAM to serve the interior of Northern Oman and Batinah Coast and Salalah unit in the southern region.

Snowhite is committed to environmentally safe operation and therefore uses chemicals of UK origin which are non-toxic and mostly of biodegradable grade. It also treats wastewater before disposal as per guidance of the Environmental authorities. Snowhite is also engaged in trade of laundry chemicals.

Snowhite's business strategy envisages diversification into other industrial services such as cleaning services, catering, laundry management contracts, linen management and office services to name a few. 

Snowhite employs more than 200 personnel consisting of expatriates and many Omani employees and the latter are employed in all areas including production, transportation, sales, administration and accounts. It is committed to the employment and training of more Omanis to further its participation in shaping and aiding the Omani economy.

Nasib Plaza opened in 1997 is held and managed by Yahya Enterprises Group for its Chairman Mr. Yahya Mohd Nasib.

This Plaza is the only one among its class hailed high for its aesthetic interior and layout located in the heart of Ruwi, the main Commercial area of Muscat.

Hotel Investments

The Group’s business interest extends to controlling shareholdings in the chain of Business and Deluxe Hotels in Europe and Northern America through MR YAHYA NASIB’s & HIS FAMILY’s investments. It had its successful beginning in acquiring Novotel Paris les Halles in Paris in mid 80’s. Later in the early part of 90’s further acquisitions were made of Novotel Montreal and Novotel Ottawa in Canada and Hotel Mercure Villejuif, Paris.
Sofitel St James London was acquired and was inaugurated in June 2002.

Hotel Investments

All these hotels run under Management Contract with the world renowned Hotel Group ‘ACCOR’, the largest hotel chain in the world, who are associated with the Yahya Group for more than two decades.
The Group thus positions itself as a leader in Hotel Industry and development of Hotel Resorts by virtue of its successful track record in the Industry. Its long partnership with ACCOR puts Yahya Group in a strong position to undertake major Hotel and Resort development projects. James Prenter

James Prenter is the General Manager of Snowhite LLC and assumes complete charge of its business activities.
British born James had his education in UK starting his career in Engineering and holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Finding his interest lay more in Commercial management he pursued that avenue and earned his B.Com (Hon) and MBA with distinction. He is also a Fellow of the Management Development Institute. He was a Senior Evening Lecturer in Business Studies for eight years and for a while acted as a consultant to industry.

James Prenter

 Prior to taking over as the General Manager of Snowhite LLC in 2001 he held senior positions in the UK, South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe. In recent times, before coming to Oman, he was with a large German owned group in South Africa.
He gained his reputation there as a troubleshooter turning around and improving business performance of its member companies.
James has many years of experience gained in diverse industries and is drawn more towards marketing, management development training and computer applications.

James Prenter

 The greatest satisfaction he derives in his professional life as he puts it is “Seeing companies I am involved with succeed and the senior employees develop into capable managers. He claims that he is a generalist with an all round experience in Finance, Marketing and Operation rather than an expert in any specific field.
He is married with two teenage children still studying outside Oman and is with his wife Linda in Muscat.

David Davenport

David Davenport is the General Manager of Yahya Enterprises and concentrates on the Group’s Commercial Services in Consultancy, Projects and Supplies. He is the main point of contact for customers and also the various Principals and Suppliers that the company represents.
More and more of Yahya Enterprises’ customers are looking for complete solutions to make their own activities easier and more effective. David’s aim is to ensure that all services are highly customer focused and good value for money.
A Chartered Engineer by profession David holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Masters in Telecommunications and a Diploma in Accounting & Finance. 

David Davenport

David’s wide experience covers a decade in the Middle East and over a decade in the United Kingdom. During his career he has held senior management positions in a number of multi million pound projects and businesses. 
A major part of David’s expertise is in Systems Integration, Prime Contractorship and Project Management of major turnkey projects and service contracts. 
The wide spectrum of his experience covers the entire gamut of commercial and managerial aspects including the setting up of new businesses, co-ordinating building and civil works, logistic and training support, outsourcing and facility management, ISO 9000 Quality Standard accreditation and Health and Safety risk management.

David Davenport

David wants all customers and suppliers to be more than satisfied when dealing with Yahya Enterprises be it for consultancy services, new or upgrading systems, supply items, in-service support or outsourcing solutions.

David is based in Muscat with his Dutch wife Janneke.
